About Cuthand Church

Cuthand Church is an independent non-denominational congregation of Christ exalting believers.  We believe in the authority of the Holy Bible as a sufficient rule for faith and practice as well as the power of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. We are rooted in Wesleyan theology.

Our bluegrass band, Cuthand Creek, leads us in worship each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and we are happy to proclaim, “boots and blue jeans are always welcome”.  Cuthand Church offers ministries for young and old — retired couples and young families join together each Sunday and serve together through the week as the Body of Christ.  Children’s and youth ministries meet weekly and are the heartbeat of Cuthand Church.

Past

Cuthand Church was established in the 1800s and founded on the basis of John Wesley’s teachings which strongly influence the Methodist Church as a whole.

Present

Currently, Cuthand Church is a thriving, loving congregation made up up people who love to serve and worship. The congregation moved into their current church building (about 20 steps from the Chapel) in 2010 and built our Family Life Center/Fellowship hall in 2017.

Future

The future of Cuthand Church is bright! We are eager to go and grow wherever the Lord leads us.
